Welcome to my website. It is my pleasure to provide parenting information to you. I've been advising parents through my practice, my columns, and my workshops for many years. My writing started with my first book, A Pediatrician's Journal- Caring for children in a broken medical system. With the encouragement of family, friends, and patients, I expanded into writing parenting columns, and giving parenting workshops across the north shore of Boston.
Through my website I hope to provide another avenue for parents to think about how they parent by providing thought provoking articles, answering their email questions, and providing access to other sources of information such as books and DVD's. Thank you for visiting.
Just so you know some background information, I graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1982. I have practiced pediatrics for twenty five years. I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and write for many newspapers north of Boston as well as for the Time for Kids Almanac.
My family and I volunteer yearly at a wonderful orphanage in Honduras called Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos where we live and work with orphaned children. I currently live north of Boston with my wife and three children. I hope you visit my website weekly for parenting information.
